WOW!! The past couple of weeks have FLOWN by...here is what is up for this week:

Tuesday- Blood basics, computer game
Wednesday- Blood Typing Lab
Thursday- Genetics
Friday- Blood Spatter Analysis

This is a REALLY fun unit...hopefully everyone will enjoy it as much as I do!!

March 9-13

This week we will be starting DNA!!

Monday- DNA Basics, Candy models
Tuesday- Strawberry extraction lab
Wednesday- DNA tests, begin research for controversial issue
Thursday-Continue research and discuss paper
Friday-Written work (I won't be there)

p.s. 9 (School) days until Spring break!!

Test tomorrow over Chapter 15.

Study your terms, lecture notes, and have a general knowledge about the labs you did and you will do great!!

Guest Speaker Wednesday

Monday- Explosives
Tuesday- Open Book Test over arson/explosives
Wednesday- Cleveland Police Department detectives will be speaking to us about their jobs and bringing instruments to show off!

Thursday/Friday- NO SCHOOL!!

Conferences will be thursday from 1pm-7pm. Parents, if you want to schedule a conference, please email me or call the school. Otherwise, enjoy your Extra LONG break!!

Feb 2-6th

Monday- Forensic Database and Physical Evidence Lab

Tuesday- Probabilty and Statistics, review for test

Wednesday- Ch 2/3 test; start arson

Thursday-Arson; Lab "Ashes to Ashes"

Friday- I will be gone to Roane State... Activities TBA

January 26-30

Test Wednesday!

Make sure to review your worksheet and the hisorical significance of certain discoveries.

Thursday/Friday-Chapter 2-The Crime Scene; we are going to look at how to secure, collect, record, and preserve evidence found at the crime scene. We will also learn how to properly search for evidence.
